My heartfelt prayer for you

Is that you experience profound recognition, purpose, and affection. May the vastness of the ocean never diminish your sense of self. May your heart overflow with happiness, and may laughter accompany you every step of the way. Above all, may you always find comfort in the knowledge that you are encompassed by the love of God, the warmth of family and friends, and the breathtaking wonders of the world.

IN THIS SEGMENT I WANT TO ADDRESS

Historically, there existed a notion that mothers should perpetually prioritize the needs of others, including their children, work, family, and everyone else, often neglecting their own well-being and personal pursuits due to limited time available.

Over time, society has gradually moved away from the belief that placing others before oneself is the ideal approach. We have embraced the understanding that, while prioritizing God remains paramount, women must also prioritize self-care. By investing in our own well-being, we enhance our capacity to support and nurture our family, children, and friends. Neglecting self-care leaves us with limited time and resources to offer to others. Therefore, this month, let us emphasize the significance of self-care and recognize its positive influence on our ability to care for our loved ones.

HERE ARE SOME IMMEDIATE WAYS THAT YOU CAN START PUTTING YOURSELF

first today

SAY NO! saying "no" to commitments, tasks, or requests that don't align with your priorities or overwhelm you, you create space and time for yourself.

Be present and fully engaged in the places and spaces where your presence is most valuable and needed. Multitasking is not always the best thing for you mentally.

Remember, self-care includes honoring your own needs and taking care of yourself first.

Be kind to yourself and not overly critical when you make mistakes. As humans, it's natural to stumble and encounter setbacks along our journey. Instead of dwelling on our faults, we should practice self-forgiveness and extend grace to ourselves. Just as we would offer understanding and compassion to others.

DANCE and laugh often.
